Rosewood is tucked away along Emerald Bay amongst a tropical landscape. Here you’re not far from the busy Patong district, though you’ll feel worlds away from the tourist hub in this absolute paradise. With a quiet stretch of beach, your own private pool, top quality wellness programmes and delicious food, this is a place where you can totally relax.
The food here is top quality, with four different restaurants to choose from. Exceptional Mediterranean, seafood and authentic Thai cuisine are served, with more casual options to enjoy by the pool for lunch. Facilities here are second to none, with a striking pool area facing out to the ocean that weaves around trees, gardens and boardwalks. The spa and wellness facilities are world class; on offer are indulgent massage treatments, holistic therapies, programs to help improve your eating and sleeping, and even life and relationship coaching sessions! Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre and kids club, with treasure hunts and a pirate ship to keep the children entertained.
71 opulent and spacious pavilions, villas and houses make up the resort, blending into the natural environment and each with a private pool. Most have views out to the ocean, with standard rooms sitting amongst the tropical landscape. They’re minimalistic and contemporary in style, built with natural materials and dotted with Thai works of art. The majority are one bedroom, however, the houses have two rooms and are ideal for groups or families, with a large dining room, pool area and lounge area. Bathrooms also deserve a mention, with their double sinks, rain showers and outdoor bathtubs.
This is a great choice if you're after total luxury in Phuket. It does come with a high price tag but here at least, it really is a case of you get what you pay for.
Luxury - Luxury hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A luxury hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
